Anne was known for her beautiful singing voice and performed throughout her life in various venues, mostly through church.  She was an excellent cook and baker.  Christmas was a special time at the Evensen household.  Anne was a wonderful hostess and loved throwing parties.  Her vivacious personality and her geniune love for people made her a pleasure to be around.
Here she is in her Phoenix, Arizona home, with the Viking Ship she embroidered by hand.  She was an accomplished seamstress, and could crochet and knit beautifully.

Anne-Berit passed away from complications following hip surgery on October 11, 1977.  She is buried in Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A.
